This review is from: Exped Vela 1 Tent (Misc.)
I just got back from two weeks in the Alaska outback, kayak camping, with my Vela 1. We had 40knot gales at Alava Point one night and, tucked up against a downed tree, this baby didn't even budge. Peg one end between a couple of blueberry bushes, the other end between a pair of Devil's club, the back against a fallen fir, and you are good to go.

This tent is super durable... a bomber tent if you will. The slide-up vestibule is a bit funky as if you can't "slink" under it, your gear may... Read more
